As you may already be aware, substantial fuel price increases are expected to take effect from 1 April 2026. We understand that these increases will impact many businesses directly, and we want to assure you that Pioneer Freight is, as always, taking your best interests to heart.

After careful consideration and discussion, we have decided not to implement a fuel surcharge effective 1 April 2026. Instead, we will maintain our current rate structure and continue to absorb the increase for the time being.

To ensure transparency and fairness, we will review the situation every 15 days. Our next review will take place on 15 April 2026, at which point we will assess whether a surcharge may need to be introduced from 1 May 2026. Should fuel prices stabilize, we will continue to hold off on any adjustments.

Please note that this decision applies to Pioneer Freight’s own services. Any fuel surcharges applied by third-party suppliers that we engage on your behalf will still be incorporated into our pricing and billed back-to-back.

We believe this approach provides clarity and predictability while demonstrating our commitment to supporting our clients during challenging times. We will keep you updated regularly so that you can plan with confidence.
