Dear Valued Clients,
As of 1 March 2023, the European Union’s Import Control System (ICS2) for all goods entering the EU by air has been updated. EU customs authorities will collect certain customs data prior to departure and arrival for shipments entering the European Union.
As an Exporter whether by airfreight, or Courier, your Action Is Required: Effective immediately, please ensure you have the below data appearing on all commercial invoices when shipping non-document shipments to the European Union. This will help to ensure the smooth processing of your shipment and avoid potential delays or penalties.
The following countries will be affected by the new invoice requirements;
The launch of ICS2 Release 2 will not impact the handling of your European Union bound export shipments but departures may be delayed if shipments are received with the above information missing on commercial invoices.
