The Cape Town international Film Market and Festival, a weeklong event for all of the film industry professionals, amateurs and students to learn from one another, network and soak in some culture attending movie screenings, and a four-day long film market.
Pioneer Freight and Pioneer Movie Services had the opportunity to exhibit here, broadening our horizons in the film industry and gaining new potential clients. On short notice we set up our booth, put together marketing materials and off we went. Opening on the 18th of October we spent the next 4 days talking to as many film experts as possible.
Alongside the Film market, various Pioneer Freight team leaders were invited to attend the evening cocktail events, creating more opportunity to network and create the potential for new business.
“Although the attendance at the film market was far less than expected, however with this being the first, it was somewhat expected, we were able to make many contacts at the functions we were invited to as a result of our advertising” says Ray, Director of Pioneer Freight.
